Reading Pen - Dutch. Features and Specifications
The Dutch Reading Pen includes the following features and contains over 800;000 entries and definitions from the Dutch lexicon: Groot woordenboek Hedendaags Nederlands; 2e druk Copyright 1996 van Van Dale Lexicografie bv Utrecht/Antwerpen. Retains a history of last 350 words scanned - for easy review.
The Pen also now includesa 'Trainer' -The trainerfits onto the end of the pen andassists withscanning for the first time. Scan: Captures single words or full lines of text in seconds.

Hear: Reads and spells scannedwords and definitions aloud with ScanSoft® Text-to-Speech software.
Define: Defines words within the definition (cross reference). Word List: Creates a list of words last scanned. Voice: The product's built-in Text-to-Speech technology provides immediate word-by-word pronunciation of a scanned word or full line of text. The included earphones or most headphones may be used for privacy.
Text Recognition:The Reading Pen reads a wide range of printed fonts and sizes (6-22 points); including inverted text. Test Mode: Special 'Test Mode' for use while taking exams.
Alternative input tools are included for entering words that you can't scan (e.g.; street signs). Left-handed support: If you're left-handed; don't worry! The Reading Pen can be set for convenient left- or right-handed use. Ergonomic and Lightweight: The Reading Pen is designed to fit in your pocket. At only threeounces; it is much lighter than regular dictionaries. Optical Character Recognition at 97% (based on standard font and size average).
